Letters from Boston 2023＋, #7 Halloween

みなさん、こんにちは！
昭和ボストンで、BAP(Boston Academic Program)に参加しているビジネスデザイン学科2
年の中津川千聖です。本日はハロウィーンについてご紹介いたします。
Hi! I’m Chisato Nakatsugawa, from the department of Business Design. I am a sophomore, and I
participate in BAP. Today, I will talk about Halloween.

私はこの日、１限２限のクラスがあったので、午後にトリック・オア・トリーティング
にウィング２に行きました。ウィング２は先生の部屋があります。たくさんのキャンデ
ィーをいただきました。私はリメンバー・ミー 風のコスチュームを着ました！！
I had 1 st and 2 nd period classes, and in the afternoon, I went trick or treating in Wing 2. In the
wing2, there are teachers’ rooms. We got a lot of candies. I wore the costume inspired by the
movie, COCO. The movie COCO is about Mexican holiday, dia de los muertos.

その後、夕方にダウンタウンにあるビーコンヒルに向かいました。家はデコレーション
が施されており、たくさんの人で賑わっていました。こちらでも、スナックやチョコレ
ートをいただくことができました。
After that, I went to Beacon Hill in downtown. The buildings were decorated, and there were
many people. We also got candies there too.

こちらの写真はディナーで出たケーキです。見た目は怖いですが、味はチョコレートケ
ーキでとでも美味しかったです！！

そして最後に、RAの方が主催のハロウィーンパーティーに行きました。ポップコーン
マシーンやチョコレートがあり、ダンスや写真を撮って楽しみました。
This is a cake that we ate for dinner. It looks like scary, but it tastes so good!!
Finally, I went to the party that RAs hosted at Showa Boston. There was a popcorn machine and
chocolates. We danced and took a lot of photos.

私は今回、ハロウィーンをアメリカで体験することができてとても嬉しかったです。印
象的だったのは、アメリカでは大人から子供まで全員が楽しんでいることです。みなさ
んもアメリカでハロウィーンを過ごしたいですか？
I’m glad to experience Halloween in the US. I’m most impressed by how it is both children and
adults that enjoy Halloween here. Do you want to experience Halloween in the U.S?
