Hello everyone.
This is Marin Saida, a reporter from Boston.
本格的に様々なクラブやイベント活動が始まり、毎日が充実しています。
Various clubs and event activities have started in earnest, and every day is fulfilling.
Showabostonではソーラン節ダンスチームというイベント活動があるのはご存知ですか？このソーラン節チームは、地域の大学やイベントにて日本の伝統であるソーラン節を踊り、日本の魅力を知ってもらうクラブです。
Did you know that Showaboston has an event activity called Soran Bushi Dance Team? This Soran Bushi team is a club that dances the traditional Japanese Soran Bushi at local universities and events.
ShowaBostonソーラン節チームは４月21日にBrandies Universityでの披露でした。私は撮影者として、ダンサーと一緒にイベントに参加させていただきました。
The ShowaBoston Soran Bushi team performed at Brandies University on 21 April. I was a photographer and attended the event with the dancers.
今回はBrandies大学の「JAPANフェスティバル」ということで、会場の装飾から全てが日本をテーマとしたフェステバルでした。ソーラン節チームの他にもBrandies大学在校生による和太鼓・ファッションショー・ダンスなどが披露され、まるで日本にいるような、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
This time it was Brandies University’s “JAPAN Festival”, so everything from the decoration of the venue was a festival with a Japanese theme. In addition to the Soran Bushi team, students from Brandies University performed Japanese drums, a fashion show, and dance performances.
いよいよソーラン節チームの出番です。
ソーラン節のイントロが流れてくると同時に歓声が上がり、大盛況となりました。ソーラン節チーム、とってもかっこよかったです！！
It’s finally time for the Soran Bushi team.
As soon as the intro of Soran Bushi started playing, the audience erupted in cheers, and it was a great success. The Soran Bushi team was really cool !!
Brandies大学の在校生の方とも交流ができ、素敵な経験となりました。
It was a great experience and a wonderful meeting with current students from Brandies University.
