【今井ゼミ】夏のゼミ合宿

みなさんこんにちは！今井ゼミ4年の松尾そらと和田彩希です。今回は私たちが運営しているwebサイトである「Palette」の新しいトピックについて紹介します。
Hello, this is Sora Matsuo and Saki Wada, a junior student in Imai seminar. We would like to introduce a new topic for our website, Palette.

私たちの代がPaletteを執筆するにあたり、記念すべき第1回目の内容をゼミ合宿で収集することにし、昨年の夏に群馬県へ今井先生とゼミ生で情報収集の旅へ向かいました!
In the summer of 2024, to write articles Palette, we decided to gather the first pieces of content at a seminar camp. Prof. Akiko Imai and the seminar students went on an information-gathering trip to Gunma Prefecture.

今回の記事作成に当たり、ESG（E＝環境,S＝社会,G＝ガバナンス）に当てはめて記事を書くことを軸として、富岡製糸場と農家の中島様、こんにゃくパークの3ヶ所へ伺いました。
In preparing this article, we focused on writing based on ESG （E: Environment, S: Society, G: Corporate Governance) factors. We visited the Tomioka Silk Mill, a female farm entrepreneur, Ms. Saori Nakajima, and the Konnyaku Park.

世界遺産である富澤製糸場では、歴史を感じられる建物の中で絹糸を作る過程や歴史の情報に目を通し、18世紀当時、現場で働いていた女性たちの仕事内容や暮らしについてなど、沢山の情報を得ることができました。Paletteの記事では「ENVIRONMENT」のカテゴリーで、絹の歴史だけでなく現在の絹の市場規模や価値についても書かれているのでぜひご覧ください。

At the Tomioka Silk Mill, we could look through information on the process of silk production and history in the World Heritage buildings and learn a lot about the work and lives of female workers in the 18th century. This article is in the “Environment” category of the Palette, which also includes the current market size and the value of silk.

女性の農業起業家として活躍している中島沙織さんのオフィス兼ご自宅ほ訪問した際には、実際に育てているケールをサラダにして、試食させていただきました。普段あまりスーパーで見かけない野菜ですが、多様な用途があり栄養価も高い魅力的な野菜で、食材として大変有望であることを知りました。また実際に畑を訪れて、なすやケールなどの野菜を収穫したり、ビジネスとしての農業にどう取り組んでいるかを聞く中で、日本の農業の現状や起業家として果たしていくべき使命や想いを知ることができました。また、帰る際にケールをいただき、夜ご飯はみんなで料理をして美味しくいただきました！！
この取材はESGの全てに該当しまさにサステナビリティ―の記事となりました。女性起業家ということで「GENDER」のカテゴリーに掲載されています。＊中島さんの取材にあたっては、本学現代ビジネス研究所社会人研究員の相場毅正さんにお世話になりました。当日は写真も撮影していただきました。この場を借りて御礼申し上げます。

When we visited the office and home of Ms. Saori Nakajima, an active female agricultural entrepreneur, we tasted a salad made from kale that she actually grows. Kale is a vegetable that is not usually seen in supermarkets, but we learned that it is an attractive vegetable with a wide variety of uses and high nutritional value, and is very promising as a food ingredient in the market.

We also visited Nakajima’s fields to harvest eggplant, kale, and other vegetables, and through listening to how she is tackling agriculture as a business, we learned about the current issues of agriculture in Japan and the mission and aspirations that Nakajima wants to achieve as an entrepreneur.

When we left, we also obtained plenty of kale, and we all cooked a delicious dinner together!

This interview was truly a sustainability article covering all aspects of ESG. The article is listed in the “Gender” category.

二日目はこんにゃくパークへ行きました。こんにゃくパークではこんにゃく工場の見学のほか、無料のこんにゃくバイキングを体験してきました。こんにゃくについての知識やお店に並ぶまでの商品の製造工程を学んだあと、こんにゃくを食べることができるので非常に勉強になりました。今井ゼミのみんなはお腹一杯になるまでこんにゃくバイキングを楽しんでいました（笑）
実際にこんにゃくパークで学んだことをもとに書き上げた記事はPaletteの「BUSINESS」のカテゴリーにあります。

On the second day, we went to Konnyaku Park. This is a facility that demonstrates and sells Konnyaku foods, a specialty yam of Gunma. We attended a tour of the Konnyaku factory to learn about Konnyaku and the manufacturing process of Konnyaku products until they appeared on store shelves. We ate various Konnyaku food products at a free buffet, which was a very educational experience. You can read this article in the “Business” category of the Palette.

この二日間で訪れた富岡製糸場、中島沙織さん、こんにゃくパークについて体験、取材したことをもとにPaletteでは三本の記事を書き上げました。Paletteにおいて初めてのブログ執筆ということでみんなで協力して書き上げました。今回のブログでは、Paletteの記事の裏側をご紹介しました。取材の成果が詰まっているwebサイト「Palette」をチェックしてみてください！
